About the company

A Texas carrier that keeps its promise to drivers

Hoosier Tex Express hauls freight across all 48 lower states from our home in Texas. We are a trucking company built around a simple idea: a driver who is safe, rested and treated like a professional moves freight better than one who is pushed.

How we run

Driver safety is the operating standard

Safety in trucking is usually a poster on a wall. We treat it as the thing that decides how we dispatch, what we buy, and how long a driver is given at a shipper.

Our drivers run the lower 48 with the equipment and the schedule they need to do the job right. When something is wrong — a light out, a soft tire, a load that is not secured the way it should be, weather closing in — the answer here is to stop and fix it, not to push through and hope.

That standard is why drivers stay. It is also why shippers keep freight with us: a carrier that looks after its drivers is a carrier whose loads arrive in one piece.

Where we are, where we run

Based in Texas. Running the lower 48.

Our base is in Texas, and our hiring reaches well past it. Drivers who live anywhere in the lower 48 can run with us — the lanes follow the freight, not the state line.

What we haul

  • Dry van freight — general, palletized and floor-loaded
  • Reefer loads, temperature-controlled and sealed
  • Flatbed and heavy freight, secured by hand
  • Long-haul lanes from coast to coast

Equipment and lane assignments vary by position. Each posting says what it asks for.
